Samuel Andrew Bettcher.  He was born on 1 Nov 1906 at Anamoose, McHenry, North Dakota.  He married Esther Florence Beutler, daughter of Gottlieb Beutler and Ida Franziska (Francis) Gerlach, on 22 Dec 1931 at Guthrie, McHenry, North Dakota.  He died on 23 Oct 1998 at St. Paul, Ramsey, Minnesota, at age 91.  He was buried in 27 Oct 1998 at Glen Haven Cemetery, Crystal, Hennepin, Minnesota. 

--- 2nd Generation ---

Andreas Böttcher.  (aka Andrew Bettcher)  He was born on 22 Nov 1882 at Atmagea, Dobrudscha, Romania.  He married Anna Ehrmann, daughter of Samuel Ehrmann and Anna Maria Böpple, on 18 Dec 1905 at Fessenden, Wells, North Dakota.  He died on 18 May 1909 at Minot, Ward, North Dakota, at age 26 of appendicitis.  He was buried at the Baptist Cemetery, Anamoose, McHenry, North Dakota. 

§         He departed Hamburg, Germany 19 May 1898 on the ship Fürst Bismarck and immigrated into the United States at New York City on 27 May 1898, then settled in North Dakota.

--- 3rd Generation ---

Samuel Böttcher.  (aka Samuel Bettcher)  He was born on 8 Apr 1857 at Paris, Bessarabia, Ukraine.  He married Maria Elizabeth Sperr, daughter of Johannes Sperr and Louisa Fandrich, on 26 Nov 1876 at Atmagea, Dobrudscha. Romania.  He died on 1 Nov 1923 at Medicine Hat, Alberta, Canada, at age 66.  He was buried on 6 Nov 1923 at Rosenfeld Cemetery, Golden Prairie, Saskatchewan, Canada. 

§         He immigrated to Dobrudscha, Romania about 1874.

§         He visited North Dakota in May of 1892 with friend Johann Adam, presumably to check on land opportunities.

§         He is also known to have visited Cuba for farming opportunities as well, but complained of it being too hot.

§         He departed Hamburg, Germany 19 May 1898 on the ship Fürst Bismarck and immigrated into the United States at New York City on 27 May 1898, then settled in North Dakota.

Andreas Böttcher.  He was born on 6 Feb 1830 at Paris, Bessarabia, Ukraine.  He married Anna Elizabeth Allmer, daughter of Johann Traugott Allmer and Anna Maria Schortzmann, on 7 Jan 1854 at Paris, Bessarabia, Ukraine. 

§         His death date and location are unknown, but most likely Dobrudscha, Romania.

--- 5th Generation ---

Michael Böttcher.  He was born about 1794 in Poland (most likely Posen or South Prussia).  He married Anna Katharina Schramm before 1822.  He died on 6 Nov 1855 at Paris, Bessarabia, Ukraine.

§         He immigrated to Bessarabia from Poland and became a colonist in the village Paris in 1816.

§         He married a second time at Paris, Bessarabia on 30 Sep 1854 to Louise Abraham, widow, born in Prussia.
